Total raised for Charity

Students and staff came together to raise money through a range of activities throughout this school year. Thank you to everyone involved.

Key Stage Four

In Key Stage Four, Sociology is an extremely popular subject. Students with strong essay writing skills often choose this subject and enjoy taking a critical look at the society we live in today. The Sociology GCSE includes the study of Families and Education, as well as the critical analysis of Crime and Deviance in society. The GCSE is externally assessed via an exam at the end of Year 11 and many of our students go on to study the subject at A Level and beyond.

Key Stage Five

In Key Stage Five, students have the opportunity to study Sociology in greater depth, with scope to study it further at university. The Sociology A Level includes the study of Education, The Family and Crime and Deviance. Sociology is an incredibly popular subject studied in Post 16 and we’re proud that many students have gone on to study it further at university.
