Diversity Week 20th - 24th June
This week has been #SchoolDiversityWeek and at Bilton we have celebrated the week with assemblies (for all year groups) focusing on intersectionality and dedicated tutor times on LGBT+ with the support of the charity #JustLikeUsUK.
Competitions have been running in school for best decorated area and for posters representing diversity for staff and students. Judging will take place today by the Wellbeing Ambassadors and Pride Club with results being announced on Monday
Pride Badges are still available for purchase via reception or parentpay (until July 1st) with all monies raised being donated to #JustLikeusUK . The LGBT+ young people charity , which works with schools and young people across the UK to ensure that young LGBT+ people can thrive

Vision Statement
Wellbeing is of central importance to the learning and attainment of all students. Within Bilton school we are keen to work closely with all stakeholders to improve and support the needs of those associated with the Bilton community. We will endeavour to look at strategies to support everyone's emotional wellbeing and mental health, so that they can be listened to, are happy together and are ready to learn.
