Uniform

At Bilton School we believe our students are exceptional, and have the potential to achieve anything by being the best they can be. In every area of our school we want students to have the highest expectations of what can be achieved. As part of our high expectation culture we want to have a clear and consistent uniform. This why we are setting out the school uniform that we want students to wear from September 2017. By wearing the uniform correctly students send out the message that they are ready to learn and take advantage of all the opportunities available to them at Bilton.

Many thanks for your support and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns/questions on thomas.gleghorn@biltonmail.com

We have been overwhelmed with the positive response to the new uniform policy, we hope that giving parents over three months to buy the uniform will allow for a smooth transition ready for September. We have had some questions from parents regarding the uniform, we thought it would be great to share them with you.

Where can I buy the school uniform from?

We have two outlets, The Webb Ellis Store (5-6 St Matthews Street Rugby CV21 3BY 01788 567777) and The Schoolwear Centre Rugby (5 High Street Rugby CV21 3BG 01788 542202)

What is the cost of the new trousers and skirts?

A Bilton School KS3 girls skirt costs £15.99, A Bilton School KS4 girls skirt costs £20.99. Bilton School KS3 girls trousers cost £15.99, Bilton School KS4 girls trousers cost £19.00. Bilton School KS3 boys trousers cost £16.99, Bilton School KS4 boys trousers cost £19.99. All prices above are in line with Ashlawn School, The Harris School, RHS.

When will the new uniform be ready?

The new uniform will be ready from July 2017 but parents are able to pre book the clothing at both outlets, and create a payment plan at the Schoolwear Centre if required.

Is my child able to use their PP funding money?

Yes pupils that have PP funding are able to contact Bilton School and use their funding to pay for the new school uniform.

My son/daughter grow out of clothing very quickly?

For the first time we are running a second hand uniform shop at Bilton School. If you child has grown out of their uniform and we have the next size available, we will be happy to swap the clothing for you. Likewise if you have any spare Bilton School clothing you could donate to the school the please bring drop them in the school reception.

Many thanks Mr T Gleghorn
